WOOD'zA dream has come true for the OOhh Collection with their OOhh WOOD'z series. With the desire to eliminate the use of paint, OOhh has developed their WOOD zero pots.
In the WOOD'z series, OOhh decorate their recycled paper pots with sawdust from the local carpenter industry in Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka has a large furniture industry where many different types of wood are used. OOhh has carefully selected sawdust from different types of wood and mixed these to create the 2 beautiful colors Light wood and ASH. To achieve a nice black colour, OOhh has burnt some of the sawdust and created an ash which is mixed in. So different colors without the use of paint. Who would have thought it was possible?
